The Keeler Migraine Method takes a very practical view of headache. We discuss any and every modality available to the headache community. While Dr. Cowan’s training is in “Western” medicine, his approach to headache management is “holistic and translational.” He is conversant with herbal and non-prescription supplements, acupuncture, yoga, physical therapy, biofeedback, and cognitive therapies as well as other modalities used in migraine management. All these modalities are available at the Keeler Center and discussed in his book.
